Iiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee!!!!

I'm not scared of a lot of things, and not usually bugs, but even I would've freaked out if I found this thing anywhere in my house. This dude in London found it behind his TV. It's poisonous and from South America. Luckily, the venom is not lide threatening to a human, but does cause an extremely painful rash. No thanks.

Ok. That just totally creeped me out for the day.  If I saw that in my apartment, I'd move immediately.

And that's why I live in Wisconsin. sure, we have mosquitoes like nobody's business, but I'll take them over the creepy crawly bugs anyday.

Ewwwwwwwww...I would die if I found that in my house. Then I would call a moving company and move away. Far, far away. Maybe to Canada.

There used to be this old rooming house/ hotel in Milwaukee that burned down. Among the ruins were a breed of cockroaches with orange coloring on their backs. No where else in the world were these cockroaches ever discovered before or since!

True.  Every place has its advantages.  Besides, I've seen people wear shorts in 20 below weather. It's almost like summer all year round here.

Cockroaches are one of those bugs I don't like. Star, you can keep those giant flying ones! I don't like earwigs either. Or tics, but I consider those a parasite, not a bug. But man, I'll take spiders any day!

And I know we don't have earwigs down here, but when I lived up north we had plenty. So, for anyone who doesn't know what an earwig is, here's a pic:

I usually don't have issues with bugs, but I know that first thing is way too big to kill with a shoe.

I'm with you on the earwigs Mz!

They love damp areas, so after a heavy rain you can find a ton of them.

Last month I went to get my mail and when I opened the mailbox about 50 of them went scurrying off. I could see the mail was all junk so it went directly into the trash and I sprayed down the mailbox with about half a can of raid!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!

NO! OF COURSE NOT! AN EARWIG CAN NOT BE THE STATION MASCOT!!!!

A SOBER Sparky would never even have asked such a silly question

Aw, come on, I love spiders... Okay, maybe love is a bit extreme. But I have a great appreciation for them ever since I watched a talk show where the guy who trained the spiders for the movie Archniphobia showed his 'spider-whispering' skills. Fascinating.

Let us remember that spiders are the good ones, they actually eat the other little pests. I do agree that they look much neater from afar though.

I don't have a problem with big spiders like tarantulas and stuff, its just the little house spiders we get, can't stand em, sorry they don't last long near me!

I'm with you, Zim. I scold my husband for killing spiders because they keep all other pests at bay. But I will admit, no matter how good the bug is, if it is physically on my person, it will probably be killed.

We are having a run of Black Widow spiders this year.  They are actually very nice to look at.  I am facinated by the shiny black color and the red hour glass on the belly.  But, thanks to Terminix once a week.....

We had lots of creepy crawlies in Hawaii.  I used to catch the gecko's and put them in my bedroom.

My cat loves geckoes!!  She can hunt them down.  The dog tries but is not as successful!
