We had that cold a couple days ago. The wind chill was -6 Saturday afternoon. It's 11 here now but there is no wind so it's not so bad.
Friday night and most of Saturday, I worked with a couple other guys at the church. We got new projectors and screens put up in the sanctuary. It is quite an improvement. The new projectors have so much more vivid colors and are way brighter than the old one. They look really nice.
I gotta decide if I'm going to a concert on Saturday evening. It is a 1.5 hr drive if I decide to go. I really like this group, but this is a Christmas tour so they will mostly be doing Christmas music. If it was a "regular" tour with their most popular music, I'd be going for sure, but if it is going to be them mostly doing their version of traditional Christmas songs, I may skip it. We'll see.
Good day, all! It is indeed cold enough to freeze the balls right off the Christmas tree today! Presently 9* says the weather feed... according to the weather guy on the radio we might hit a "high" of 18* today.
It did snow here over the weekend, but not much. Officially we had 2 inches. I believe I am the only person in my entire city who had to shovel the driveway yesterday. I had about 4 inches of snow in the half of the driveway I use. Mother Nature has a heckuva sense of humor.
I've also moved into a new and exciting phase of this cold / sinus infection I've had for the last 5 or so days... gone are the fever and body aches, the sore throat is almost done too... now I have the lovely "barking like a seal" cough and all the lovely greenish guck that goes with it. In the next couple of days I'll probably lose my voice too! YAY me.
On the up side, I don't have to work tonight and I'll have the house to myself so I'll be enjoying a few hot toddys while watching the football games this evening.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I've been hitting myself in the head with the Nyquil hammer every night so I think it is time to step up my game a little. If I'm going to wake up with my eyes all ooged shut it might as well be for a good reason.

Afternoon all. Been tied up with stuff and I didn't get my fingers in here this morning. It has been cold, but not as cold as you guys. It rained Saturday night through last night, but the temp was in the 50s during the day. This morning there were a few flurries falling on my way into work. That quickly changed as the sun came out.
M - happy bronchitis.
Now, where did I leave my hockey puck?

It is early yet. Our terrible cold usually starts more around early January. We are supposed to be getting some of the bitter cold you guys have had. Let's also remember the dry, hot summer we had here. Plus, it was cold here while it was still kind of decent there in early November.
I'll gladly take the cold if the snow stays away. Or at least stays away on work days.
