This Sunday! On Jazz 101!

This Sunday on Jazz 101, I will let the broadcasting software chose what we will listen to! If I do not select the songs, the software automatically cues up random songs from the archive. This is a great way for us to discover songs we might have never heard before- in fact, this is what happens during the Sunday Afternoon Jazz Fest. 


There are so many great and obscure tracks in the jazz vault. And I am admittedly biased in my own tastes. So, like my listeners, I will be tuned in to see what we get presented with. Maybe we will discover a few great things together!


Of course, if you are around and tuned in and have a request, don't hesitate to drop me a line jazz@freezeframeradio.com , or if you are a forum member, post your request right here!

its times like this that we can count our own personal blessings- that we are able to continue to do the things we love to do. Amidst the chaos, I see how lucky I am to be able to broadcast and interact with my WFFR friends!

   its been a very -very long -hot summer for all , i think a lot of people will want


  to just stay home , try to get some rest and relax for a day or 2 . I don't think the


  country (as a whole) is in much of a ' burn down the barn '  party mood .

I get these great mental images of people going about their business- be it ray kicked back on his porch tuned in with a 7-7, dave down in florida tuned in kicked back playin the online poker, star and her mom doing their nails together tuned in, hartz and hubby having a nice together evening together chillin out and tunin in- and many more, but it really just makes my week to come in and "get everybody together" for a few hours of great sunday night music!!

Yeah, I'll be at the races, but I may get back in time to tune in.  But if I do, I'm usually beat after a day at the track, so I don't promise that I won't fall asleep again..

Bathed and feeling much better now. I had a great time, but totally beat myself up. I'm ready to go back and do it tomorrow, though! I put on sunscreen, but I must have wiped it off of my face, because it's now burnt. And I was also carrying a backpack that rubbed the sunscreen off my shoulders. Add to that a twisted ankle, and I'm feeling a little worse for wear. But it was a blast!

This is me and Brandon Bernstein, my favorite driver. For the record, his dad was my favorite driver, but he retired and gave the spot to his son, and that's how he came to be my favorite. That he's a hottie is just an added bonus!:
