We wish everyone year of happiness and good fortune in 2011.
This year is going to be a good one. I demand it. I can feel it. Last year wasn't the worst year ever, but it certainly wasn't the best either. But this one will be the best. 'Cuz I said so.
New Years is normally my favorite holiday. Ordinarily I'm filled with enthusiasm and optimism and all those other good things.
Not this year.
I started the year out by being sick. The last two days I could feel it coming on but today it seems to have taken hold.
Besides that my mood is just funky. I feel very much the part of a grumpy old man at the moment. This is the first time I've EVER gone into a year with a feeling in my gut that this is going to be one REALLY bad year (for me and my family, hopefully not for you all!).
Aren't ya glad you didn't invite me to your New Years party?
I guess I'll get on the exercise bike and see if that can boost my spirits. Everybody welcome to 2011!!! Enjoy every minute of it if you can!
Hey all, boy what a year 2010 was. Nice to see y'all hang out from time to time still. This is a decent forum. Just chat. Sometimes a bit simple but, authentic.

I know I was hoping to start this year with the biggest bang of all - winning the lottery jackpot. Alas, no one won the jackpot last night. Guess I'll have to try again Tuesday night.

Happy New Year, everybody!! My year is starting out well... no more hillbilly skylight in the bathroom. Jeremy came up today to patch it for me. Still have some work to do on it, but it looks a heckuva lot better than it did this morning.
I've spent most of today hanging out with the kids. Made some ice cream and apple crisp for us all to enjoy.
JR... I hope your feeling about this coming year is wrong. I wish you and yours happiness and prosperity in this coming year.
