We stayed up until 4 am celebrating the new year, and then on the 1st, I woke up a 9am. :/ I ended up falling asleep on the couch at about 9 that evening, got to real bed an hour later, then slept until 11 yesterday morning. Then last night, Brian fell asleep on the couch before 9, and wouldn't wake up to go up to bed. So last night I slept terribly.
We made it to 2011, and yet, it feels very much like 2010 did.
Now begins that long haul for many workers and students where another break is quite a way off.
I didn't make a "resolution" but I've gotta get back into the exercise routine again. I've let that slack and the scale is showing it. So, back to the elliptical again for me. Ugh.
It's supposed to be in the upper 20's for a high today. That will feel warm after this cold period we've had.

Hope everyone has a great day.
Ditto.
Mz - I understand. NYE we were out super late (I wasn't even 5 minutes from my house) and I crawled into bed at 4:25am. It was a good thing it was only Saturday then. Sad thing is that I wasn't even drinking. I wanted to try to keep some kind of schedule. I got up about 11am. I thought I did pretty well, but last night was a horrible sleeping night. It was one of those night where I was up every two hours. I hate starting a week like that.

I agree Fuzzy. We'll be spending the whole week trying to catch up. For me, I just never felt like I hit REM sleep.
Same here Web, I didn't make a resolution, but I do need to do something exercise wise. My whole plan was to get a Wii with Wii Fit when I dropped some weight, but I'm not sure that was a good plan. Especially now that the Xbox has Kinect. If I could get a deal on a Kinect, then I could use that as my workout routine, especially during the winter.
I've been at the office for about an hour and 15 minutes or so... just now getting around to logging in. I figured I was best to get it over with early, so I told the boss and Brehznev about injuring myself last Thursday. When the boss finally caught his breath from laughing he said, "Well, I guess I won't be telling you that I need you to bust your @$$ this year since you apparently already have." It's gonna be a good year!

Trust me on this... they are just getting started. Not sure if my name will now be "BB" (Broke Butt) instead of MM, or perhaps 3-Cracks, maybe Crash Bootycoot... they will come up with something.

I made a boatload of resolutions, but already feel run down and blah. This cold I started getting last Thursday afternoon finally seems to be hitting full force today on the last day of my vacation. Man, I'll tell you, it sucks to be sick the last five days of a vacation!
Up until now it was a minor annoyance. Today my head is stuffy my nose is running, my eyes hurts, my throat hurts, I'm coughing.
Stoopid germs. I'm gonna build myself a bubble to live in as soon as I'm healthy again.
Well, no way I'm exercising today. So at least I have a legitimate excuse for a day off from that!
I hope everybody has a good day, and make sure you wipe your computer screens down after reading this so you don't catch my bug.
I'm going to make an afternoon of it... haven't been to the eye doctor in the last few years so I made an appointment for there too. Boss told me to take the day off on him. He got a really good laugh out of me calling it "the walk of shame".
