It's amazing how quick a sunrise can change. As I was coming to the office, I noticed how super orange and yellow and bright the sunrise was reflecting off the clouds. I was behind some trees and buildings so I couldn't stop to get my pic of the day right there. I went about 1/2 mile around a corner to get a clear view and it had already totally changed to quite dull and normal.
Good day, all! I am going to try to get through this day without having to sit on the inflatable booty ring and without having to take pain meds. So far, so good... we will see. I have them here in case I need them. I think if I'm careful with how I sit, it should work out.
Not a lot else going on here right now. It is still kind of a slow week. I'm taking the day off tomorrow at the boss's insistance... I have a couple Dr's appointments in the middle of the day so he said while it is slow I should take a day on him. Probably will work from home on Friday. I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the Chief's pep rally tomorrow night. It is in downtown KC in the party district. I tend to doubt I will unless some friends also want to go, but it is a thought.
for you, Mz... sleep ROCKS!
Web... hope you find another cool picture since the sun didn't work out so well for you.

Morning all. I slept some last night. It just took me a while to actually get there. I'm wondering when it will catch up with me.
I had cool clouds mixed with the sun yesterday morning on the drive in to work. I even remarked that it would make a good picture for the picture-a-day thing..
Now, where did I leave the 2006 state tax returns? I think I only have a copy by paper and those are in storage. Wonder what a girl needs to do to get an electronic copy.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, so a job I like may be hard to find. But thanks for the thought Web.
Oh, by the way, I did not win the Mega Millions jackpot last night. Oh well, I was really hoping I would have. I only spent $10 but I was hoping it was enough.

Web - the other flavors are at home. I already finished the french vanilla. I have the mint here. The regular chocolate and the chocolate caramel are at home.
Mz - I'll gladly toss you one. Since it won't reach you, I won't have to tell you that you can't have any. Not because I won't share, but because of the corn syrup. Sorry. :(

I have a question. Does anyone make their hot cocoa with milk? I've always had mine with water. Growing up that is always how it was. I've never had it made with milk. I know they say that it will taste more rich when made with milk. Is it better that way?

That's OK Fuzzy, it loses all corn and egg products during travel, as well as all calories and fat. Unfortunately, it also loses all taste, substance, and any other physical qualities.
Well, I didn't win the big 300+ million dollar lottery last night. Makes me glad I didn't waste any money buying tickets for it.
Like MZ, I finally had a good sleep today. I think the worst of the cold is over now. Last night at work was tough though. We'll see how tonight goes.
I think MZ and Webster should keep posting their photos too! I have a couple "daily" new years resolutions I'm trying to keep, a photo-a-day was one of them. If I set up some free hosting maybe I'll join in too. It must be the year for this, I had thought about it just from talking to web about his camera. Then he told me a girl from TWIT was running something like that. MZ says she was thinking about doing it, and now last night I noticed my cousin from NV is posting a pic a day on Facebook under the album heading "365 Project"
I wonder what's causing the interest in daily photos suddenly. Maybe this is going to be a year worthy of being captured on film?

Probably because this is the last year we'll have a chance to do it. The world will end before next year is over, so it's now or never!
Or, more likely, I think it's a sign that we'll really in the digital age. I was just thinking yesterday how I would've never done something like this before. Obviously, the technology wasn't there to post a picture every day. But in addition, now it's basically free. Before I would've had to pay for the cost of film, plus developing, plus all the trips to the store, plus waiting for the film to develop, it wouldn't have been worth it.
In fact, we found 4 rolls of film when cleaning the Den (what we call our extra bedroom) last weekend.
I've always just used water to make my cocoa too. I've had it made by others with milk which I really liked, but it's just so easy to put a mug of water in the microwave, get it boiling, mix, and enjoy. No worry about scorching the milk.
There's a part of me that hopes they're right. I always thought it would be nice to all go out together, the big finale. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't WANT to die, but if its the end of the whole damn thing then bring it on!
I think the 365 photo projects have been done a long time. I think it's just like when you get a new car . . . you don't notice how many other people have the same model and color of car until you get one too.
