CP- what happened with the fire(s) out there- I know you said that you'd have to redo your landscaping for the business, but how much damage happened to the entire area?

The fire is 90% contained right now.  I did not lose any equipment, but lost a lot of money with the landscaping.  The worst part of all of this where I am really sick--it was my wife's sister's husband and my wife's cousin that started the fire.  They decided to go camping on the property.  the last thing I told them as they left my house, was "do not start a campfire'.  The BLM is evaluating the charges against them, and so far they have to pay the suppression costs of $1.8 million dollars.


Originally we thought that it was the Mission Impossible 3 crew that started the fire-as they were doing pyrotechnics in the area for the film. 


So, for irony and torture--please expect--Through the Fire.

I was having a really hard time with it, but then when I put my problems next to those people in the Gulf--I am doing OK.

Yea that situation really puts things in perspective. I get exhausted just thinking about the whole hurricane situation; I can't imagine actually going through what those poor people are going through right now.  Makes just about any issue I have right now seem as minute as it really is, and makes me grateful for what I do have!

wow!!  I can't believe that you know who started it.  They are so busted!  I hope they didn't get hurt!  Always camp w/ a fire extinguisher!!

Gosh CP that is really heavy! I am sorry that it is people that you know. I will pray for them as we know it was not intentional (right?!). I will continue to pray for you that you can recoup your losses.
