A friend of mine from work's dad is in the military and is working on a helecopter in New Orleans right now- here are some pics he just sent over. Unbelieveable.

I wonder if now that they have temporarily fixed the levies if the water will start to receed and how quickly will it move.

I am happy that they are not giving it up for lost- saying that Lake Ponchetrain just doubled its size, inconveniently etc...
