We've all been there, been the new person on the block, and given the opportunity to prove outselves as being the right person for the challanges of a new job. We've got this new guy here for about a week now, and instead of saying "Hi I'm XXX (I dont even know his name), he walks around all "What I need from you is something called xxxxx???" Not even knowing what it is he is demanding. I think he thinks he's in some sort of managerial position, while he is actually just another grunt peon.


I feel sorry for people like this. Plus he's like 4"5' tall too- a Napolean complex. People like this who come in to take charge, without taking the time to learn how things work around here, seeing the bigger scope of their jobs. These poor dorks usually burn themselves out quickly, without ever really seeing what it is they are supposed to do and learning how to get good at it. Little dictators without an army.

Good luck with that JD. Just snarl at him and tell him when he knows what he needs then come see you. Tell him you don't do report names, just the detail.

I've just seen it happen too many times- especially to these kids fresh out of college "the textbook or my teacher said things would be this way....and its not!!"


A little tact, diplomacy, "smarts" matter a lot.... I guess being knocked off the horse a few times might straighten these little generals out....

lol and I've gotten my snarl on a few times, fuzzy! A few well placed snarls are so much more effective than the little snarls thrown daily by a few twits who are digging their own graves!

The best place snarls work well. I learned that early in my career.


But you know the real question here. I know it is early, but is this guy better thatthe witch that left? Or is it truly too early to know that answer?

You know what???? that is that guys position!!! it didn't even register- he is replacing the witch!!!!!! Document Control "Specialist"


Nobody but nobody is worse than her!!! And its not even me who this guy was getting on at, I just happened to observe his mannurisms and way of dealing with people, thinking "I dare that twit to come over here with his airs on......" LOL


Its just soooo much better to have ears before you have a mouth!!

I'm sensing some hostilitites toward Riggs. Even the Emperor Penguin is 3' at best. This displaced aggression is not healthy. I suggest two jack and cokes while listening to "Take Five"...and call me in the morming.

I agree with Dr Ray. This hostility towards Riggs who is a tiny thing compared to a 6' heathen  is just not healthy. Take two jack and cokes  with some Butterscotch Tastykakes  and call dr Ray back in the morning.  Also make sure to listen to Things can only get better by Howard Jonnes
