I'm so excited! Here we go! Yes, I know that there is a good possibility I will end up disappointed. But still, this is the Chief's first playoff game since 1986. Win or lose, it is pretty amazing that they have made it this far. I've got my "in the house tailgate" set up and ready to go.
On the non-football front, it snowed here last night. Not a lot so far, only maby an inch or so, but it stuck. Supposed to snow more today, tomorrow, and Tuesday. According to the weather guy, Monday is a 100% chance of snow, expecting 5-7 inches of accumulation. BOO! So, while I'm watching today's playoff games the wuzband has his orders:
1) Leave me the he!! alone. I'll probably be yelling and screaming, but it has nothing to do with you!
2) Fire up the snow blower.
3) Verify that we have gas for the snow blower... if not, go get some. Don't forget to mix in the oil.
4) Put the trash out tonight.
He is out of town tomorrow, so I'm (as usual) on my own for snow removal duty. I don't mind doing that, but I feel it is his responsibility to make sure I can do it with ease. This girl doesn't like to have to shovel any more than is absolutely necessary.
Anyhoo... hope everyone has a great day. GO CHIEFS!!

Sorry Mema. You guys hung in there until halftime, then the Ravens opened up the whoop-ass.
The Pack played well, but the game shouldn't have been as close as it was. We gotta stop throwing in James Jones direction on big plays.
I had figured we had a 50/50 shot at beating Philly.
Vs. Atlanta I was thinking 30% chance, but after chatting with Dylan and spending some time today scouting Atlanta's team online, I'm going with 50% again. They're good, but they're not THAT good.
Meh... I more or less figured the Chiefs wouldn't win. Really I did think the score would be closer though. Oh well... maybe next year. I'm still happy that they won the division and actually made the playoffs.
Good luck to the Pack. Should be another good game this coming weekend.

Michele, sorry about your Chiefs...they had a good season.
Fuzzy, congratulations on the season your Eagles had as well. Now you can start turnign your attention to the Phillies and the CY Young club otherwise know as your starting rotation.
Mz, sorry about the Colts
My predictions for this week:
Green Bay over Atlanta Chicago over Seattle
Pittsburgh over Baltimore New England over New York
I haven't really thought about it. I'm still mad at the Eagles for an ugly game. The defense was awful. The Eagles were driving, had a chance to win the game and for some odd reason Vick decided right there that he had to get everything at once. That was silly. If he succeeded, there would have still been too much time on the clock. More importantly, Celek's misstep is really what cost the Eagles the game. If he doesn't illegally touch the ball, the Eagles only need a FG to tie and they were already right htere to do so. I am disappointed in Akers. I'll give him the early miss, but he should have not missed the second FG attempt. If he makes that, then the Eagles could have won it on a last second FG by him (which we already established the Eagles were in great position). Nonsense I say!
I know. All you hear is blah blah blah. The better team won the game. I think Vick picked up for a lot of holes all season. Plus, the defense was weak all season too. The injuries didn't help them. We lost defenders the way you guys lost offensive players.
