After big snow and ice events in the Southeast, Plains, and Midwest this week, 49 out of the 50 states currently have snow on the ground yes, even Hawaii, where snow falls in Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea all winter.
That's really weird, isn't it? Snow in every state but FL.
We have a heat wave going on here. It's 20 degrees warmer than yesterday morning was. That's still only 13 degrees, but that 20 degrees sure makes a difference. The forecast dudes are saying we could even get up to 30 today. Whoop!
Good day, all! In theory it is warmer here today too. Presently 7*. Yesterday's high as far as I know was 11*, the forecast high for today is 25*. Alas, there is the wind chill factor to consider, so it is supposed to feel like -1* to -11* all day.
The chill is setting in here inside the office, so I will be off to go get some hot cocoa in a few minutes. BRRRRR
Not a log going on here so far. Looks like another slow day in paradise.

I remember when I was a kid...it was 95 degrees one day and cooled down to 65 in about an hour and a half and I was freezing. So I guess it is all relative.
