This Sunday Sept 11th, I will not be in the studio, at least not for the live shows. Perhaps Riggs can set up a couple of "classic" Underground 80's and Jazz 101's to play. (uh...is the mic on Riggs??? &$# where is the song cue again.....hey I'm up to 8 listeners!?!?!? WOOHHOOO!!!!! LOL)


Riggs and I and a couple of friends vowed to grill out every September 11th, because we had spent that horrible day in 2001 together. We were to go to a ball game that day, of course didn't- but still grilled out to celebrate our friendship and being alive that day. We had promised to get together every Sept 11th thereafter for as long as we could, and this will be the 4th year doing so.


I am not sure of his plans for this year, but in years past on Sept 11th, Riggs set up a day of great american patriotic songs to play for Patriot Day. A great way to go about your day, but reflect from time to time.

you naughty, naughty boy-- get to work in the studio-- we need manhattan transfer and donny osmonds new ones played. wait, my jd made me forget why you were not going to be in sunday.  you better have a good excuse.  SIX shots in the last hour and boy there is no pain tonight and embarrasement tomorrow.

i just finished reading ab out sept 11th.  I will never forget that day and how i WAS AT  walmart headquarters/  it was business as usually for them and I just wanted to be home. oh my gosh too much jd tonight.

we'll actually be at our friend lisa's house this year, not even near the studio. Lisa now has an 11 month yr old kiddo! And the kiddo has FEETIE-BEETIES!!! (she likes that). she likes her uncle JD and JR too so it will be a fun day for her!
