HooRay! Not so much that it's Wednesday, but because pretty much everyone in the office is gone today and those of us that are here pretty much just mind our own.
So, last night I was playing Brain Age on Isaac's DSi and am very disapointed to say that my Brain Age in the reading / spelling category was 60! What?!! My Brain Age in math was 40 -- but I do work with numbers all day, so go figure. Why can't I ever remember that 9x6=54? Every stinkin' time!
I need to read more...

Our son plays that on his DS too. The problem is that he'll sit there and keep asking us the questions. We try to point out that it's about HIS brain age, not ours.
I've never played it myself . . . I think I'm afraid to.
I think some of the problems are not really geared toward Isaac's age.
One thing I think stinks is that the word memorization cheats -- when I was writing letters, it would recognize them as other letters and buzz me incorrect. Then on the math, I tried to answer wrong and it would let me slide. Oh, that's two things...
Oh, pleez, Web! You probably have a very young brain! You're just one of those people who seem to do well with whatever you try. Like with the carpentry and the photos... and the bass, I'm sure there's more.

Good day, all. I'm less grumpy today since I got a little sleep last night. Looks like another busy day... right now I'm listening to some testing with a new partner company while I'm working on a totally unrelated project. Always fun.
Presently 21* and cloudy... supposed to be warmer here for the next few days. Unlike Fuzzy, I'm not in for snow for once.
I'm very happy that it is finally hump day. It seems like this week has been really, really long already.
Never played Brain Age... I'm fairly certain it would tell me I'm brain dead.

It is a !@#$%^&*()+= kind of day here. The weather is awful. We are getting hit with two storms over the day. It wasn't supposed to be heavy snow early am into now. But here it is. And it is the ugly wet, heavy stuff. Driving to work was disasterous. It took me 2.5 hours to go 30 miles. It was supposed to be a little snow, turning to rain and then heavy snow around 5pm and through the night. They are saying 6-10". I don't think it will stop snowing anytime soon and it sure doesn't look like there will be rain. Unfortunately I had to be in the office today. Plus, I didn't take any work home with me. Depending upon how the roads are tomorrow, I may just stay home. I hate that tax time coincides with crappy weather.
