I had some problems with my email Wednesday afternoon, so I came in Thursday morning to the afternoon load of emails on top of the typical morning load. Now I'm having trouble catching up, and on top of that, I've got a nice pile on my desk too.
Good day, all. Happily yes, it is finally Friday. I'm working from home today. It should be a fairly relaxed work day. I hope it is anyway. This week has been killin' me.
The weather should be fairly good today. Rumor has it the high temp this afternoon should be in the low 50's. Hopefully a bunch of snow will melt off today.
Hope everyone has a great day!

After school, the boy and I worked hard on a snow fort in the front yard. We should be able to get it finished up today and hopefully his BFF can come over tomorrow and play in it with him. It's pretty cool . . . maybe I can take a pic of it. I'm quite sore today from moving snow around yesterday.
It is supposed to be in the upper 40's today, 30's tomorrow, teens Mon-Tue, then back in the 30's again.
Morning all. I'm finally rolling into the forum. Being off yeaterday has put me in a tight spot and I have to play catch up. Last night I kind of went with the thory that I will most likely have to come in here tomorrow. Blah.
DS - 71! Holy cow. Any chance you could push that warm my way? That would help melt away the crap I pushed around yesterday. It is piled high. Plus the say somoe more flurries tonight and tomorrow. Then there is that storm that is brewing for Tuesday night. I hate winter.

DS, be careful, we're all going to come steal your 71!
Well, my work computer has crashed. Luckily, I backed up last night, so if it needs a hard-drive transplant, I can retrieve most of my info. I ran home to get my laptop, which has some of the programs that I use at work. It's better than any other computer here, but still makes it hard to get all this stuff done that I need to do.
I thought about calling in, but I decided I wouldn't chance it -- my luck being that I'd acutally come down with something.
Fuzzy, I'll do my best to send it your way. We really haven't had a very wet winter and we sure could use some moisture. I imagine we'll soon get it as freezing rain in February.

Well, if it is moisture you want, I'll gladly offer you some of my snow. It has been so cold that we haven't been able to get rid of any of it. Plus, it keeps falling.
If we all take a piece of DS's 71, we might all be able to make it to 45* today. We're sitting around 32*.

I don't want snow, but if I can get it in liquid form, that would be great. I could divy up the 71 and with all of us averaging anything above freezing we'll be in business.
I got to thinking, there's going be a baby boom around October / November, up in the Northeast

You know the weather was bad when the FedEx man didn't pick up Wednesday night or deliver yesterday.
The only reason I came in on Wednesday was because I had to have some papers out of here and up to NY for early Thursday AM delivery. The boss told me he got an email from the receiving party that they didn't receive anything yesterday. I gave him the tracking number to send to them and then I looked it up myself. I scheduled it a 4:30 Wednesday. The FedEx guy comes by 6:30ish to collect the last stuff for the night. My envelope didn't get picked up until after 4pm yesterday.
