even though I'm a huge Bowie fan, I didn't request it....
but does anyone else think it's almost brilliantly poignant that the request of that song came right after the 9-11 flashback? if you listen to the lyrics of the song (which came out in 2003, so it was post 9-11), it's obviously about the WTC "see the great white scar over Battery Park".
Now whose the other big Bowie fan that might've requested it? Hm, I wonder... Okay, sarcasm aside, I didn't know the 9-11 tribute was in the lineup when I requested it, I just wanted to hear the song.
lol, I figured it was you :) But still, that was really interesting how that happened to be trhe song to come on right after the 9-11 tribute, especially since it wasn't like they were both requested. I guess sometimes there's just a stroke of brilliance in programming that can't be explained, lol.
