The Last time the Green Bay Packers won a Super Bowl (1996), the Forum was not even an idea in JR's mind at the time. Heck, JR was predominantly a baseball fan and he and I had daily debates as to why football was superior or inferior to baseball.
Well our little JR has come a long, long way. Last I heard, he was in Green Bay to watch and witness football history. Heck, he may have gotten drunk, found a girl, got married and started a family since I last saw him. I am guessing the girl would have had to have been drunk too.
Anyway, to the league leading, 13 time champion, and 4 time Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers...thank you for a memorable season. Mema and TL, thanks for hanging out with me on the band wagon. It was fun. Cant wait for the encore.
And to JR...it would be my honor if you named the little guy Dylan!
I do hope you WI boys had fun with your football team this year. It was nice watching Pittsburgh lose. The Packers played hard, the defense player harder and they won the game.
I hope JR and his new wife make it home okay. D - let us know if you are going to throw a shower or something. I'm sure we could scrape together some money for a wedding gift.

And the best part of it is we can collectively accept that the move to Rodgers was the right move at the right time. Favre is officially no longer part of the current discussions of the Packers.
Hey JR... start that college fund now. It's expensive.

What a fun time though. I'm really glad I did it, and since they won, we'll have to do everything exactly the same for next years Superbowl when we go for the repeat!
The Eagles were lucky to have the year they did. It wasn't supposed to be this way, but I took it. We'll see what happens next year. It all depends upon who the QB will be.

I can only imagine what your team can do next year when you get all the parts back. A heathly bunch could be very dangerous.
I hope the Eagles don't have to play the Packers next year.
We've got ten unrestricted agents, many of them starters. Deciding who to pay and who to let go will be hard. But the core players are all coming back, and like you said, the healthy guys coming back will be a boost.
I think we're in good position to be a serious threat for the next five years as long as Rodgers stays healthy.
JR - did you get your new Packer jersey in time for the superbowl? If you did, then I guess your broke that jinx too.
I didn't Fuzzy.
For a couple of reasons. 1) After three days they still hadn't shipped it and I was worried that it wouldn't get here in time anyway, and B) I'm still trying really hard to lose weight and decided spending $105 on a jersey that hopefully would be too big by fall was stupid.
This fall I'll get one or two for sure though. Assuming there's no lock-out (which sounds all but certain at this point)
Hmmm. I don't know about hats. I know it extends to clothing items. Theoretically, one should not buy any new Packers stuff as soon as the make the playoffs.
Did you go out and get your championship t-shirt?
