McCArtney is Back

Paul McCartney released his 20th solo album yesterday: Caos and Creation in the Backyard...has anyone heard it?

It has a DVD with a special edition...he plays all the instruments on this album...this guy still gets jazzed about writing songs.

His new stuff hasnt gotten the critical acclaim of his earlier work, but this is a strong effort...on one listen I recommend this disc and after several listens, I am sure I will love it.

What is your favorite Paul McCartney song?

He is probably the best songwriter of the last 50 years.

Uncle Albert is a great song Thump. Just sounds like they were having fun playing it.

I heard a snippet of a song from the new album- it sounded good; straight out of the lennon-McCartney days- not like  that weak stuff which has plagued his last few albums.

Paul McCartney's definately one of the greats.    "Getting Closer" is my favorite thing he's done.
