I walked to work today. My hands got a little cold, but I'm all warmed up now. It was actually kind of a hard walk. I walk on a path through a little wooded area, over an empty field where the train yard used to be, and over the construction for the new walking trail through town (north to south, and I'm walking east to west, go figure). Things are still a bit muddy and there's even still some ice on the ground in places. So I guess I hiked to work today. Good.
I've been hanging out at home this morning. I go back to the dentist in 30 min to replace the temp crowns with permanent ones. A friend who has crowns said that this part is no big deal. I hope he's right.
Good afternoon, all. It seems much more like it should be late Friday afternoon by now. Ah well... This week has been a flurry of activity trying to get everything caught up as the training of the new peeps starts next week. As of this moment, everything is caught up... including the new stuff that came in today. Little Man and I are supposed to be meeting with an engineer from one of our routing database vendors, but that may not actually happen today. Seems he got caught in traffic in NJ on his way to the airport and flight delayed anyway because of the fog. Flight should have just got in about 20 minutes ago, but then there is getting here from the airport to contend with. Poor Bill... I hope he made it ok.
Speaking of fog... that sucked here this morning. Most of it has burned off since, but for the drive in it was only about 500 feet of visibility. But yes, it is warmer. Presently 54*. Supposed to be 70* tomorrow and in the mid to upper 50's all weekend.

Today's dental visit was not bad as far as pain involved, but it didn't go as planned. One of the crowns didn't fit properly so I have a temp again on that one while they send away to have another one made.
Quit being sick. I must have got mine form you. I thought I may be in the clear this year when I wasn't sick between Christmas and New Years. Apparently I was wrong.

I'm pretty stoked today because I got my concert ticket to see Disturbed and Korn here in Saginaw! It's gonna be loud, and it's gonna rock pretty dang hard!! I'm so excited to be going!!!
Web, sorry one of your crowns didn't fit quite right. It's worth the wait though; a bad fitting crown throws your bite way off.

That's livin'! I love when I can ride my bike to work. It's so totally different than driving. There's smells & sounds, just time passing. Nice.

Who you callin' gramma dude??!! You're as old as I am, GRAMPA!! Motorhead is going to be at Mayhem Fest this summer here at DTE Music Theatre. Disturbed and Godsmack are headlining, but really it should be Motorhead. Guess album sales have more to do with who's headlining instead of who is really the metal masters.
