Any big plans for the weekend?

My husband and I are going on a harbor dinner cruise tomorrow night. He won the tickets to get on and for dinner. We just have to pay for drinks! Tonight we are heading shrimp!!! Shrimping season started last Friday, but because of Ophelia you could not get into the water until yesterday and he did and coolered out!!! I love fresh shrimp and so does Emily. Zach is going canoeing with the scouts all weekend so I will get a needed break!!!

Sounds like a good time . . . Oh yeah, I remember this is the weekend that you were going to "thank" Mr. Ruby for the flowers!

Have fun!

Good for you Ruby. I hope you have a nice time and enjoy your much needed break.

I have no real plans. Maybe I will work on the counting thread. Oh wait, I was doing that today. Maybe some drinking and football this weekend.

Is there any chance that Mr. Web will be thanked by Mrs. Web for last week's flowers?

We are going to a mud race tomorrow afternoon and then just kick back the rest of the weekend.

I love shrimp too Ruby, but by the time it makes its way here it's usually used as bait...or should be.

Fuzzy: That chance is only directly proportional to the extents that Mr. Web would be willing to beg. Mr. Web is tired of begging. Mr. Web thought that he'd at least get a hug or kiss for the flowers, but alas, not even that was offered.

Ruby, what is heading shrimp? Is that a technique needed for catching them? Can I send my wife over to go with you? She loves shrimp and won't let me forget the time her brother and I split around 100 of them one evening and didn't invite her over for any. (this was before we were married...some 22+ years ago.)

It is literally removing the heads of the fresh shrimp. Then we double bag them with our seal a meal and freeze! Usually by the end of the season we have enough shrimp for the year! That includes sharing some- coworkers and family and we usually eat it at least once a week!!!

Poor Mr. Web

Sorry about your luck Webguy.

Well, at least you are not alone. I know that doesn't help, but still.

I love shrimp! How do you best like it prepared? My favorite is shrimp scampi.

Going tailgating and to the IU game with coworkers tomorrow. Oh, and getting a haircut. Other than that, the typical weekend chores, like cleaning and recycling.
