I have a feeling this is going to be One Of Those Days.
I walked to work this morning. I really debated whether I should, whether I felt good enough to and whether the weather would hold out. I feel OK, just a little stuffed up, but I took a look at the hourly forcast, and it looks like it's going to start raining between 5 and 6.
Like I said yesterday, my boss and coworker are on vacation. They got a call from a customer who screwed up on his end, who needs a mailing sent out before Monday. It's a difficult job, and now they're talking about coming back from their vacation early for this customer. I'm trying to help them so they don't have to come back early, but that might mean a late night for me.
There's other little problems and such coming out of the woodwork this morning too. And I don't have coffee, only tea.
My phone has been messing up for a while. I'm tired of fighting it so I did a hard reset this morning. UGH. Now I gotta get all my software and settings back in order on it.
Morning all. For now the sun is shining. The rain is due in later.
I have been kicking around the idea for at least two months of going to the Average White Band & Tower of Power concert in mid April. Who can't use more funk? Since Saturday I have been thinking about it a little more. It is at the same theater we were this past Saturday night for the George Clinton & Funkadelic concert. It is a small place. I think I got my sign this morning that I should go. I am listening to Pandora today and I got songs from Average White Band & Tower of Power back-to-back. The concert is 4/16, so maybe that will be a nice good job on surviving tax season gift to myself.

Making progress. I've got it back to where I can access email now. That's the main thing.
I was putting this off because I was waiting to try the BlackBerry "Style" that was supposedly coming to US Cellular before Christmas. Now I'm reading that that phone has been cancelled for US Cellular. So, I'll wait to see what's coming out later this spring/summer. I can't keep fighting these issues that long.
Good day, all. Funny you should use that phrase for the title of today's thread, Mz. I actually used "Great Collapsing Hrung Disaster" in an e-mail to a vendor today.
The weather here sucks today. When I woke up at about 6:30AM it was approximately 40* and thunderstorming. By time I got to the office, it was 33* and still raining. Just a bit ago I looked out the window and it is now snowing. Brehznev and Lee decided to work from home today, so looks like it is just me and the boss. Gonna fire up some tunes here in a minute to crack the sound of the white noise generator.
Seems to be a calmer day around here today, which is nice for a change. This has been a misery wracked week.
Hope everybody has a great day.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, I've been fighting a major funk. I think our week of spring last week made it too depressing to deal with winter again this week. :blech:
Not much to report here, just working, sleeping, eating, working, sleeping, eating, and on and on.
I hope everyone's having a good week.
WEB: You've been very PATIENT with your buggy phone. Congratulations.
