It's Monday

Good day all.

I'm not sure what this day will hold yet, but I think the stress has carried over from Friday.  Too many people waited too long for their stuff, and now they expect me to make up for their procrastination.  And my boss is still out until tomorrow, she's passed enough stuff on to me as it is.

G'morning.

It's supposed to warm up to the 40's again this week. Yay!

Good morning.

Ok, so yesterday the high was 80; today 50 (maybe) ohmygod.gif

I had a fun weekend, in a nerdy sort of way...  I accompanied my stepdaughter and my youngest grandson -- 6th grade -- to a math competition at OSSM (Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics) in OKC on Saturday.  He didn't place cry ... but, I really enjoyed the afternoon.  We listened to speakers over the history of the school and campus life, went on a tour of the campus, met some of the instructors and students.  I had fun.  We wanted to go to Winter Jam afterwards, but the awards presentation took too long and we didn't make it in time to get tickets, so we just kicked around Bricktown.

Morning all. It is a sad day around the office. The coworker I mentioned on Friday passed away on Saturday.

There wasn't much there JR. We didn't know much in the way of details. He was 64 and a man whose family was the most important thing to him. He fought off 3 bouts of lung cancer. I think his last surgery (late November or early December) left him compromised.

I know these things happen. But I don't think I have ever gone to a funeral mass for a coworker, especially a current coworker.

I'm sorry to hear it Fuzz. Lung cancer is a tough one to beat. Basically that's what got my Dad.

I've never had to go to a funeral for a co-worker either. I hope it stays that way. Though last year I did have a co-worker die of a heart attack, and right now one is dying of lung cancer. But they're not people I really work WITH, we just work at the same place, never really seeing each other.
