I am in trouble with the boss and desperately seek the assitance of my Freeze Frame family.
As you know I work in the sponge business--those little netted things you squirt liquid soap on in the shower. Well to make a long story short, I have misunderstood the directions and intentions of my new boss and in a lot of trouble.
If anyone is out shopping this week--can you please look for the pouf sponges in your stores. I am especially looking for markets like, CVS, Food Lion, Publix, Meijer, Winn Dixie, Family Dollar, Brooks, These markets are the stores that are more regional than national. I have information on Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, K-Mart, Target, Rite Aid--the national chains.
If you could please tell me how the pouf is displayed, like box, hook, tubing--how much the retail price is, and if you would look at the tag and let me know where it was manufactured and who distributed the pouf. You will probably see names like Schroeder and Tremayne, Paris Presents, Shalom International etc. If you see a variety of colors, multi-colored sponges and if any patent numbers are listed.
Just if you are out and about and have the time. Please email to me at cparker120@aol.com or respond to this thread.
I thank you in advance for your trouble and assistance.
No prob, CP. Do you want stores other than the ones you've listed, or only those ones? I live right next door to a CVS, and I'd got check now, but I believe they close at 6 on Sundays. But I can also check Dollar General and Marsh, if you're interested...
Publix, Dollar General and CVS are exactly what I am looking for. These stores are regional to certain areas of the country. Any small chain in your area is perfect.
The only store that I have close to me is Walmart. They display them in a tube with a variety of colors and it's on an endcap usually. I wish I would have seen this earlier. I was at Walmart on Saturday AND Sunday. Let me know if you are interested in Walmart data and I will look when I go next weekend.

CVS, displayed in a tall clear box with holes cut out to pull the sponges through, available in white, pink, pastel purple, and pastel blue, $2.99 (which seemed kind of high, is it just me?). I went ahead and bought one. On the tag it says, "Essence of Beauty Mesh Body Sponge, Distributed by CVS Pharmacy Inc., Woonsocket RI, 02895." There are a couple numbers on here, but none say that it's a patent number.
