Well, we had a busy sports weekend and the results are in on our top stories –
Congrats to the Colts, Bears and Eagles fans. The Colts squeeked out a win out on Sunday. The Bears rolled over Detroit. (And Detroit were the ones who beat up the Packers last week.) The Eagles just plain steamrolled the 49ers. There are no other words to explain it. Go ahead JR, tell me some more about how McNabb is a baby and sucks. Soup does a body good. E-A-G-L-E-S!
There are no words for the Packers fans besides ha ha. I know, it is still early. I hope your recovery goes well this week.
Webguy’s Cornhuskers also squeeked out a win against Pittsburgh this weekend.
Although I applaud the effort, the Brewers could not quite pull out a win against Houston. Sorry about your luck JD, JR and Dylan. Doesn’t look like your boys will be able to hang in there this season. Meanwhile, the Phillies were only able to take two of three from Florida. There was some wildness to the games, but it is September. They move on to play the Braves this week. Go Phillies!
NASCAR has started their playoff system and the chase for being number 1. Ten races to decide the champion. Round one goes to Ryan Newman.
After 400 and some odd days, the NHL is up and running and there have been some preseason games played. Go Flyers!

Our Cornhuskers have had the same problem the last couple years . . . great defense but the offense can't move the ball. They are starting to call our style the "Midwest-Coast Offense".
Last week, the defense scored three touchdowns by running back interceptions. The offense only scored one T.D. and a field goal. It looks like if we do have a good season, it will only be because our schedule is somewhat lighter than normal.
Thanks for the updates on sports. OUR Eagles came back and showed a certain someone who dislikes a certain QB and team that they can come back and WON! Can Green Bay say that? NOPE!!!!!!!!! Green Bay needs to rename there team from Green Bay Packers to "Who Bay Losers" JD you know that I'm only messin with you for all the things you said last week.
