Good day, all! WOW... I'm actually in here early enought to start the daily thread.
SSDD for me today... the BS has already begun. I was getting beat on for about an hour yesterday to schedule some night work... tried to but they kept giving me bad dates. So this morning I come in to an e-mail from the company that we were supposed to be working with saying that they won't be ready to even test until the middle of next week. Not quite sure how the PM's manage to miss the fundamental principles of scheduling, but it is working my nerves something fierce.
Anyhoo... another gray, rainy, colder day today. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sun again.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
It's sunny here, but only 15 degrees. It's supposed to warm back up the next few days which will melt this new layer of snow.
I've gotta play bass for three songs at lunch time. Every Wednesday starting now, and running until until Easter, our churches in town work together for what they call "sermons a-la-carte". Each church takes a turn at providing a short service and lunch. We happen to be the first one up. I really don't feel like it's worth the hassle to lug in my amp and set up (it's not at our church) just for three songs, but I'm part of the team so I'll do my part.
So, we'll play three songs, our pastor will talk for 15 minutes and then I'll have to decide if I'm going to stay there to eat or go home.
Then, the boy has an early 2:00pm out and he's on Spring Break until Monday. So, I'll be hanging out at home with him the rest of this week. I've got plenty of billing and stuff that I can do from home to stay busy.

I've been busy too. I need some info to get a bill off my desk, but looks like I will be waiting until the NEEDY ONE gets with his contacts in Houston. Meanwhile, I need to translate a document from Spanish to English -- Why is it that because one is born of a particular ethnicity, others assume you speak and / or understand the language? Although, I am fluent in the "bad words"...

I wonder if it is too late to make a reservation on the ark. Since it is late, I hope Noah doesn't charge a premium. We are due for about three or four inches of rain starting tonight and continuing through tomorrow night. The creeks and rivers are already still a bit high from Sunday's rain.
