Good day all.

I'm still sick. I had said if I was still sick, I would go to the doctor today, but I don't think I'm going to. I'm a lot better than I was, so I think I'm finally on the mend.

Mornin'

I hope you really are getting better Mz. If you slip back again, you better go to the doc.

Nothing special going on here today.

I have a favor to ask . . . would one of you come buy this house:

and be my neighbor? It's been empty since last summer and they are only asking $80k. We need some nice, friendly neighbors.

Won't you please?

Won't you please?

Please won't you be . . . my neighbor?

Wow, that's a pretty house for $80k. Too bad it's in Nebraska. Pick up your town, stick it on a coast, and I'll buy it.

Wow, 80K? Really? Do I have to bring my family?

Well, it's Monday again. The office energy seems very pleasant. A nice start to the week. Hope it lasts.

Who you bring with you is your business. It could be your summer home!

Good morning all!  Yesterday was the first day of Spring, but the weather here in MI doesn't agree.  Tomorrow night we're supposed to get a whole range of winter precipitation coming in....snow, sleet, and freezing rain. hmm

Mz, I agree with Web; if you're not completely better in a few more days you better go to the doctor.  I ended up with bronchitis after having the flu.  I thought it was just a cold until late last week when I started having trouble breathing.

Web, that's a nice home! I love the covered front porch!  Hope you get some nice neighbors. smile

Summer home! What a great idea. I don't think I could do the winters. Do you see me on the porch swing drinking a cool glass of lemonade, waving Mrs. Web over to come and join me while we talk about what you are going to grill us for supper? I'll bring the watermellon :)

I could see that!

Our neighborhood used to be very much that way. The most friendly ones moved away for various reasons. I don't have bad neighbors, they just don't have that "hang outside, visit and watch the kids play" attitude that we used to have.

If I remember correctly, I think the last beer I had was on that porch swing with the guy that owned the house before the current owners.

That's how my neighborhood used to be about 5 years ago.  Then my neighbors started selling their homes and all new people moved in.  They're not bad people, just not very friendly.  I miss my old neighbors. cry

That is how you turn an $80K house into a $1m house.

Not so much the "watch the kids play" part (not that many kids), but our property is like that.  In the summer, we all end up outside grilling and hanging out with the neighbors, so it turns into this huge impromptu pot luck.  I don't know how much that will happen this summer though, there are a few anti-social people who complain about it, and there's a new noise ordinance policy.  It's not like we're doing anything rowdy, just doing the summer hang outside with the neighbors thing.  If it were just a regular street, there would be no problem with it.

Good day, all. I'm back at Camp Happy. So far, so good. Nothing really blew up while I was gone and as a matter of fact, several things got cancelled. It's a pretty good day for a Monday. I'm glad of it.

My "Thanksgiving Part Deux" didn't exactly go as planned. The guest of honor was not there. Chris and the gang were supposed to get back from California Saturday morning, but they missed their flight. Couldn't get another flight until this morning. Unfortunately, he goes back to Iraq tomorrow. Not sure if I will get to see him this evening or not. Otherwise, it was a beautiful day and the rest of the peeps showed up so it was a nice dinner anyway... just sort of pointless.

Beautiful weather again today. It was 60* when I left for work, presently 66* and sunny, high today is supposed to be 77*. As a bonus, I have the house to myself tonight and maybe tomorrow night too. w00t.gif That always makes me happy.

Mz... hope the upswing continues.

Web... Looks like a nice house. Wish I could afford it. I've always wanted a house with a wrap around porch. smile.gif

Ghost... I hope spring makes it your way soon. Supposed to be thunderstorming here tomorrow, but still in the 70's. Temps will drop to the 50's and 60's for the rest of the week here.

DS... Buy the house! Run away!! nod.gif I'll come visit.

Fuzzy... I sure hope your week improves.

Everybody... hope you have a great day.

Web, I want the house!

Now what can you do about creating some jobs in Broken Bow?
