Good day, all. It is a beautiful, sunny day here today... what a crime it will be to have to go to the office later. Presently sunny and 54* with a forecast high near 80*. I love days like this!
Went to the KS DL Bureau this morning to get the jump on getting my renewal. I must say, it was almost a pleasure... Door to door in less than 5 minutes. The thing I don't like is that you don't walk out with the new hard card anymore, just a paper receipt with your picture on it and the pertinents. Get the card in the mail in 7-10 days. On the up side, my picture isn't so bad. I did actually smile a little, so I don't look like I'm about to commit homicide like I do on my visa and passport photos.
In about 30 minutes I'm off to the Dr. to get shots and a prescription for anti-malarial drugs. Then going into the office after that. Such a shame... I'd really love to take the day off.

I'm back to walking to work, yay! The weather is finally nice enough, and I'm no longer sickly. It was hard to get myself out of bed earlier though. I need to get back into the walking schedule.
So Mema, your DL picture isn't going to be as accurate as your passport then?
I've been dealing with a troubled server since I got up. It's the only server I rent from the data center so I'm letting their techs sort it out now.
The dog has an appointment at 11:00 for yearly shots, heart worm check, etc. She's doing much better now. We might be able to take her off the antibiotics. That will be part of today's check. She's still got some rough patches where that skin infection was, but we're on the mend. I just hope we don't stop the antibiotics and have this stuff come back and have to start over again. Ugh.

I think I am in good shape for Friday. Although Friday will be a busy day with checks and mailing things. I am working on month and quarter end stuff. I need to finish some parts of it by today. That can be done. And it shouldn't be a long night.
Oh, I'm still looking for my head. So if anyone sees it roll by please kick it this way. Hopefully the headaches will be kept to a minimum today and is finally working it's way out of my body.

The vet decided that since the antibiotics don't seem to be causing any side effects, we'll go two more weeks just to make sure we have all the bad bugs killed. That's ok with me as I don't want to go a step back in this fight.
I've been sitting on some "mental health" days for awhile now, waiting for the right time to take em'. This week would have been PERFECT! It's been absolutely beautiful every day so far. upper 60's, sunny, nice breeze. just perfect.
But they SAID Monday would be warm, but rainy. It wasn't. They SAID Tuesday would be cold and cloudy. It wasn't. They SAID today would be sunny in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon, but considerably colder than it has been. It's been sunny and warm all day!
It has been raining here since Monday night. And that is after is was at least 80 during the day Monday. The last few Mondays have been beautiful (70+ degrees and full sun) but I have been stuck here. I'm doing my best to stick with my taking the 18th off. Yeah, it willonly be 60* and partly sunny. Why would I have a chance at 70* and full sun?
