Here is an online Typing Test that will show you how fast you type. For most accurate results, do the three minute test.

I did the Finland Fishing text and came out with a gross of 65 wpm and a net of 60.

I might try another one and see if I can do better.

Tried the Oz text and that time came out with 70 gross and 66 net.

Wow, you can look at the top 100 and the top is 168 wpm - that's probably faster than I read!

Only 41 with a net of 37 for me. I broke my shoulder while I was still a fresman. The typing teacher felt sorry for me and passed me anyway.

52/50. My typing speed has actually decreased from the typing test I took to apply for a few jobs a year ago, it's usually around 60-65. Maybe I'm just having a problem with Finland.

Not my best. sigh.  but how many times do you type the word Midst....   so finger tying...   this site is cool as it changes the tests everyone once in a while.... i remember there used to be one on huck fin....   i had a guy here in work that i used to compete with... got up to 80 something on that one....    if you keep doing it over and over again, you can increase your speed... i picture those guys with the 186 speeds sitting in their stained underpants typing over and over and over again.... chewing coffee grinds....  <shudder>

Okay, so I suck. But I deal with numbers all day and that is different, so I don't need to type fast. I never did get the hang of that fingering thing in high school.
