Who has been requesting what lately?

I like to ask this every once in awhile- what have you been requesting lately??

We've got a nice selection of Doors material that I've been requesting lately- that and the latest u2 stuff from the new album.

I know somebody out there has been reqeusting Stairway To Heaven very frequently!!

I've requested Hot for Teacher a couple times, but other than that, I don't think I've requested anything else more than once.

We are back into one of those cycles where the same songs are being played everyday. I am so tired of hearing the Muppets Drive Me Crazy song, Led Zeppelin Stairway, Murray Head - One Night, Toto - Africa, the MJ Black & White and the two Wierd Al songs. There are other songs by the same artists. We have 7,000 songs. Bring back the variety guys!

I am sorry for my rant. I know we all have songs we enjoy and that I need to take the good with the bad. I do my best not to request the same stuff all the time.

I second that, Fuzzy. I am so sick of One Night in Bangkok, Black & White, She Drives Me Crazy, Amish Paradise, and Calling in Sick!!!

Thank you Mz. I didn't want to be labeled the evil one just making noise about six or ten songs.

Last time we had a problem with the same songs being requested too often I changed the limit for playing the song from every six hours to every eight. Eventually we went back to six.

For a little while I'll switch it back to eight. At least then you'll usually only hear it once in a work day.

I also had the program set up to play a random song from the collection every 30 minutes, I'll do that once in awhile to just to bring some variety back.

Hey, RIGHT after you guys were griping about those songs being overplayed someone played FOUR of them back to back. Who's the wise-ass?

I didn't realize you'd switched it back to 6. I think as much as we gripe, we just have to wait for the songs to run their course. Personally, it's not the how many times a day that annoys me, but more of the how many days in a row. Personally, I don't mind Weird Al's or MJ's other songs, so we just have to keep requesting different songs so the requesters can't request the ones we hear all the time.

I admit I'm guilty for David Alan Coe's Mona Lisa Lost her Smile, but I don't request it every day. Other than that it's a mix of everything.

I try not to request the same things but there is always a few that seem to pop for me but most of you never have to hear them as I request more on a morning when your all in bed.

O.K., you whiners. There are some of us who would sit through Jane's Getting Serious twice in a row just to be able to listen to FFR at ALL!

(Trish runs as the board members attack!) Just kidding guys!

so call me old fashion but I like to hear some songs everyday and ones right now are .38 special "chain reaction" or "Johnny be good" by men at work. sorry I will try to pick other songs. but I agree with some of you about stairway to heaven. and please no muppets, wierd al. etc..

Here is a question if it's an open request format? Or is it JD format?

I got my speakers working this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to listen to FFR for the first time in MONTHS this weekend. I might even catch Jazz 101 on Sunday night. Dang it's been so long that I have forgotten the times!

Come on JD! She asked about the times. She needs a reminder. Give her the 101 story. She gave you a wonderful opening for an ad.
