I've had a hell of a morning. I'm still dealing with an order that the manufacturer, who is known for being able to turn a product around in 24 hours, couldn't get to me by this morning even though they've had it for over a week. At first they said I'd get it on Friday, at which point I freaked out, because the set up for the event is today and the event itself is tomorrow. Finally, they say I'll get it tomorrow morning. I sure hope so, I'm out of time.
So I'm still pretty wound up from that. I probably will be for the rest of the day. But man, that nap does sound good. As much as I like the ocean, I don't think I'd want to take the bed surrounded by the aquarium. It's the principle of it. I don't want to sleep with the fishes.
It's been a stressful day. I'm coming down from the adrenalin high. I'm ready for that nap. I'll take the first bedroom with the blue doors, I imagine the photographer's back was to the beach and ocean.
This is one of those days where I'd rather be rescuing turtles. I'd much rather deal with reptiles than humans.
I thought of you when I last watched an episode of Doctor Who. This girl's parents gave her a gift on her wedding day. She opens the envelope, and it's a lottery ticket, and she calls them cheapskates. What she didn't know is that the Doctor, a time traveler, gave her the lottery ticket.
I'd like a time traveler to give me a lottery ticket.
