I don't care if some congressman or senator sent pictures of his schlong via Twitter to a woman that wasn't his wife. It's not my senator, and it's not illegal. Heck, I know some people who might not even call it unfaithful. Local news, sure, but why is this national news?

Isn't isn't exactly the right thread for this, but it seemed to make more sense to post it here than start a new thread.

I have it turned on so that I get news along with my music on Slacker. Unfortunately, it's ABC news, which can sometimes be ridiculous.

Well now, they keep airing clips from an interview with the social worker that was locked out of the house but could hear what was going on inside. I can only imagine how horrifying that would be, and if I really think about it, I get teary-eyed. I don't want to hear it any more, and I think it's in very poor taste to air that.

I agree, Mz.

I hate how the media sensationalizes such tragic events. It's just really sad that no news is good news anymore I want a "happy only" news station.

Just saw this headline on the MSNBC news website: New evidence that Hitler had a French love child. Why does this need to be reported?

Immediately below two different stories about the escalating situation in Syria (which I do care about... who needs another war?) is : Mountain Man breaks into remote cabins, lives in luxury. This clearly rises to the level of us possibly threatening drone attacks on Syria, doesn't it?
