Severe storms rumbled through last night. Quite a few reports of tornadoes, but nothing closer than 40 miles on each side of us right here. My poplar trees down by the sign here at the shop got broken off about 1/3 of the way down from the top. It's still hanging there in a "Y", I'll have to get up in there and cut it so it can come on down.
We made some progress getting ready for garage sale for next weekend. We're having the sale here at the shop. Mrs Web's coworker is joining us and we have 80 feet of table packed pretty full. We've dug deep and are purging a lot of stuff. Whatever doesn't sell will either be discarded or given to Goodwill. Next weekend is the "city-wide" garage sales. It's a pretty big deal. People come from all over to hit the numerous sales around town.
Howdy folks. It's a muggy morning in the Tulsa metro. Supposed to have an excessive heat warning for today -- geez, it's only gonna be 88*; I guess the humidity is going to drive the temp up. We (just barely) got Jacob graduated on Friday. YAY! It's hard comming back to work after a long weekend, especially when the office energy is lousy.
I need to check our calendar to see when our city-wide garage sale is; should be comming up.

Good day, all. Yep... back at Camp Happy. First day with the "new peeps". So far we can't get them logged into much of anything.
Happily I can report that the ankle is doing much better. I'm hopeful that I can make it through the day with my shoes on... probably doable as long as I sit a lot.
It is very humid here today. Supposed to be a high in the low 80's. I think the rain has moved out of the area for a few hours anyway. There is the possibility of thunderstorms later tonight and over the next couple days.
I got a lot done on my vacation. The new kitchen floor is in, carpets are cleaned, lawn got mowed a couple times, and I got some peppers, herbs, red cabbage, roses, and petunias planted. Also got half of the basement cleaned up in case I need to hide out down there.
Hope everybody has a great day.

Morning all. It's going to be hot again here today. Plus the humidity rolled in a little on Sunday and heavy yesterday. It was good to be out of the office for four straight days. I needed it. Of course, on the ride in this morning just reminded me that I am not happy here. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow night will be the night I win the lottery jackpot.

Oh yeah, I have a 5:15 massage appointment today. Yay me!
That was kind of cool this weekend. Mrs Web found her cousin's wife on FaceBook and friended her. As Mrs Web was looking at the lady's profile, she noticed one MzHartz as a mutual friend. It turns out that they know each other from the NaNoWriMo writing contest. The cousin that we went to visit in Denver last summer is a sister to the cousin that lives close to Mz.

Cool huh?
We all really are only 6 degrees apart.
By the way Web, I was thinking about it, and the name thing isn't really that big of a deal. She's the event coordinator for the library in the next county over, so I could've found that out anyway.
I asked Mrs Web and we don't even know if she ever uses her husband's last name.?.?
She's an odd character. I think I've only met her once.
She is a little different. I don't know what to think of her. She's very social, but that can be a little distracting at write-ins. But she did organize Nano events at her library. She's nice. She seems to really like me.
