The heat index is supposed to be 109 here today. I didn't walk today, but not because of the heat, because I need to take a rental vacuum back (ours is in the shop) by 6. And I don't walk on Tuesdays because I always have something going on Tuesday evenings: either writing group, or walking group (so I'd be walking anyway). So it's not an issue this week, but I'm wondering, should I still walk if there's a heat advisory? I told myself when I started this that I wouldn't let, "it's too hot," be one of my excuses (especially since I used, "it's too cold" last spring). Tomorrow is the walking group, so I think I'll wait and see what they do. If they cancel it because of heat, then I don't think I'll walk when there's a heat advisory either.
I say don't chance it outdoors, Mz. Do a several sets of jumping jacks indoors instead. That would be a good trade out.

I might try to do a few laps in the pool, but it depends on how busy our pool will be. I went on Saturday and Sunday and was alone for most of the time, so we'll see.
Aw man, I don't envy you. We even turned our AC up yesterday, and we never do that. Keep cool!
Ah yes, the heat. It was 80 at 7:30 this morning. That is one of the ways you know that it is going to be a hot day. And the humidity will be back today. Keep cool all.

It's similar here. The heat index right now is 112, but I've had my heater under my desk on because they're trying to freeze me out. During lunch, the heat didn't feel so bad because it defrosted my toes.
We are having a battle over the thermostat in this room. Jeff comes in and bottoms it out. The rest of us start freezing so someone goes and turns up the temp. Jeff turns it back down.... we finally made him leave.

This is the part of summer I hate the most. The heat, the humidity.
BUT, it's the one time I kind of appreciate working third shift, at least I head out during the coolest part of the day.
Seems like every year we have a week or two in July or August where even overnight the temp stays in the 80's though. I think we're about to that point now.
The boy and I went out to the farm to install a couple kitchen cabinets that dad and his wife bought. We got that done, then she made us lunch which included Cherry Pi.
In 45 minutes, the boy goes to a friend's house then he's going with them to the pool and will stay there until his swimming lesson at 5:00. We'll pick him up from the pool at 5:30.
I checked yesterday and I was able to get in for a massage today at 3:00. So after I drop off the boy, I'll be enjoying some deep tissue action.
At 6:00, we all have haircuts scheduled.
At 7:00 is the final playoff game for the boy's baseball division. He wants to go watch to see who wins.
Oh. I guess that is just part of my back then. I'm round, what do I know about appendages? All I know is that I have no arms and would like someone to rub my back please.
