We all make mistakes... heck, I even made one once...just to see what it was like.
I know that it depends how we are made aware of our mistakes...but it seems like more and more, people take a defensive posture or deny involvement.
Coinciding with this is a lack of tolerence for other people's mistakes. Its almost like we hold others to higher standards than we hold ourselves. Traffic is a great example of this.
If Nixon would have accepted responsibility for Watergate and apologized, I believe he would have finished his 2nd term without scandal. History is full of lessons like this.
This is a pretty broad topic and I am sure that some patterns and tangents will emerge...
but do you generally take ownership of mistakes?
Apologize?
MAke amnds?
Deny reponsibility?
Hold others to a higher Standard than yourself?
What trends do you notice in other people's behavior?
