Heard something kind of interesting on one of the drive time shows on the radio recently.
There is a company called Great Razors that cyrogenically freezes razor blades used for shaving. This process supposedly makes the blades last from 4 to 10 times longer. It also tempers the blade to provide a closer shave.
If your blade now lasts a week...it will last a month. Every beard is diferent, so the extra effectiveness and longevity may vary. They have most blade brands and versions. They even have womens razors as well. Sharper blades=smoother legs without the nicks.
I plan on ordering some and will test them on my facial hair. I will let you know. If anyone has heard of these or tried them, some info would be cool. The prices seem to be in line with prices Walmart charges.
Sounds cool. I bought my husband a Norelco 6 years ago and it still works great for him. But he is a man of little hair! Let me know how it turns out though, I use a razor!
GImme my good old fashioned bics for sensitive skin! a few strokes and I am done! I've had these quad-blade triple cut action edge blades before, and sure its a close shave, but the head of the razor is like 3/4 of an inch long- you quadruple the amount of time you spend shaving if you use those!
forget electric razors too! those things just wreck your face and they don't do a close enough job!!
yep! the good old fashioned bics for sensitive skin! I don't think my skin is that sensitive, but i get a great shave in a few strokes and never bleed!!
