We will be featuring a block of one of WebGuy's favorite bassists Stanley Clarke. We will be featuring the old school stuff (Lopse Lu/ School Days), as well as some more contemporary Stanley (Taxi Blues).


We will be also featuring the musical group The OK Sisters, and a track or two from local Milwaukee artist Rob Pritzlaff.

We are going to try to go see the OK Sisters live in about a month. Mrs. Web's birthday is the 11th and she was wanting to get out of here for a couple days and go to Lincoln to see friends. We found out the OK Sisters are playing in a small town about 30 miles from there so we're gonna try to go hear them live while there.

It's kind of weird that they only live about 40 miles from us here, but we are going to go 200 miles to hear and hopefully meet them.

I went to a show last night that they recorded, that if it turns out okay I'll send to you JD. It's kinda like jazz with a classical guitar, interesting hand drum work (at one point he uses this gourd thing that is so cool), and some funky bass. I think you'd like it.

My friend Marc can lay down some absolutely funky bass. I love it!!! He plays with a few acts around town, so when I get any recordings of any of them, I'll be sure to send them in. I may be biased, but he is one of the best bass players I've ever heard.

Web- riggs has the cds with him in the studio; I haven't heard but that Love yet- do you have any suggestions? Liked the bass and harmonica.

We are taking the boy to a puppet program tonight at the church at 7:00.

I hope to be back home by around 8:30 but you never know how those things are going to go so I might miss out on the first little while.

I just found out that they switched weeks for feeding the kids at youth group and it is my turn. I have 20+ hungry teens to feed. I will be late too!
