I had some for the first time yesterday on a pizza.

I was really, REALLY hesitant to try it.  It looks kinda disgusting.  But I was pleasantly surprised at how tangy it was.  

It's probably pretty sad it took me 43 years to have some.    I've never even had artichoke dip before.

You gotta admit though, they sure don't look all that edible.

I've had artichokes IN stuff, like artichoke dip, but I don't think I've ever had them plain. I don't think I've ever had anything with artichoke in it that I didn't like.

Never had it on a pizza. I have had a spinach and artichoke dip. I like that.
