Tuesday is like the middle child, stuck between Monday and Wednesday. It's initial appearance is that it's just dull and boring, but in fact, it's probably the most productive day of the week. Monday is the day that can't get motivated so doesn't; and Wednesday, well, we all know about Hump Day. Wednesday is over the Monday Blues and Tuesday's Ars Busting; Wednesday just doesn't care and onlywant's to play. Yeah, Tuesday is often underestimated...
Had a wicked little storm whip through last night. Brought a little downpour and some mean wind. Tree limbs all over the place. It will be less hot today -- 101.

I'm in a snippy mood today. I don't know if people are being more annoying in general, or if I'm just moody, but I want to start yelling at people to leave me the heck alone.
Snack sounds good. I think I'll go heat up my bagel.
I was working on making the doors for a friend's vanity base cabinet this morning. I plan on having it all done before next weekend so we can take it with us when we go to Lincoln.
If you remember yesterday . . . I took the van in for the annoying squeak but it was cool and wet so it wouldn't squeak. By afternoon it was squeaking again so I took it back, took the tech for a ride and he said "It sounds like rubber against the glass right up there...". That is rather funny because yesterday, I said "It sounds like rubber against the glass right up there ....". So, I had to schedule another appointment for next Monday morning.
It's a busy week. Facilities meeting tonight, practice for music in the park tomorrow night, set up and play music in the park Thursday night. The music will be fun though. Last year, we were one part of several different groups. This year, it's all on us and we're planning on doing 11 songs. I've never played that many different songs in a row live before.
We're getting a "Taco John's" inside the new convenience/truck stop that is going up on the West end of town. Mrs Web is excited, she loves Mexican food and we don't have a Mexican fast food place.
If I have Mexican for dinner, we go to the real Mexican place. It is five minutes fromt he house. I reaaly should try other items on their menue but I enjoy what I order. Plus, there are certain things I don't eat that are involved in many dishes. I don't do beans. The only kind of beans I eat are green beans.

Once a month, the head cook at one restaurant in town does "Mexican night" where she cooks up a few different Mexican dishes. That is it for us though for Mexican.
Been busy with payroll and my mood has been all over the place. This weekend is DH's family reunion (camping) and next week I'm going to Arlington with DH who has a business seminar. I am not part of it but the boss said I could go along if I wanted a vacation. Of course taking a vacation means I'm swamped and will be again when I return. No one does my job and payroll still has to go out on time. Aside from that I hope it is a good time. I'm hoping we can go to a few sites that he hasn't been to before. I've still seen more than him from my 9th grade trip to Wash DC.
Oh and DH and some others re-roofed the garage over the weekend. Will be nice to have use of the whole garage! No more flooding!

We've had Taco John's around here for as long as I can remember. In fact, I'd be curious if we weren't one of the first ones they had. I'll have to check out their website closer.
Anyway, around here Taco Johns was always kind of thought of as a step or two below Taco Bell, in fact I think all the Milwaukee ones closed. I'm not sure if it was the food that created that image though, I think the buildings they were in always just seemed kind of delapitated and dirty.

Is that actually possible?

It scares me. Mainly maybe because I don't really know what it is. I have not had much Taco Bell in my life.
I've always thought they offer pretty good quality at a low price. I know there was a scare going around awhile ago that they don't use real meat (which was proven false) and I'm sure any Mexican would scoff at a Taco Bell product.
But as a fast food alternative to burger joints I kinda like em'. Plus they've got quite a few fairly healthy choices on their menu.
Run for the border Fuzzy! RUN!
Oh, by the way, the Crew will be hosting you guys next month at Miller park for four games. Please remember to be polite guests and lose 3 of 4 to us. You can take out your frustration a few weeks later when the Cards gome to whatever the heck your stadium is called for four games. Maybe sweep em' right the heck outta there!

Pfft. The Phillies are on fire! How about Cliff Lee hitting a homerun last night for (what turned out to be the GWRBI)? It should be a good battle in Sept. But I think the Phillies would rather win 3 of 4 from you guys. That makes thing so much cleaner. I know, they are such rude guests. Just ask CO, SF and LA about the last week and a half.
Play ball!

Man Woo, you guys have no luck when it comes to flooding, do you?
Sure don't. Water follows us everywhere! I think the only place we lived we didn't get flooded was the first one. That was when he moved in with me where I was already staying.
