Some news on me...

I won't be able to post much right now. I have been given a temporary promotion. I'm the acting team lead of my section. Once I prove myself, I will become the team lead. So while I'm busy proving myself, I won't be posting much. I am now on equal footing supervisor-wise as my dad. He is no longer my supervisor. I report to his boss directly. Woohooooooo! Wish me luck!

Thanks, all! I'm loving it. I have a new excitement for my job and feel that I am finally being appreciated for all that I've done to this point. It feels good. I won't hold my breath on my Dad calling me ma'am (or the coffee, mainly because I don't drink it), but I know that he is proud of me. I talked to him about it and he said "They had no choice, you are the only qualified person for the job and you would do the best at it. You will be an excellent supervisor." I almost cried. I love my Dad.
