WOW, that is fantastic. I wish I could be there to see it, but then again my death thing said that I was going to die from being trampled at a concert as people try to get out due to a bomb threat.
awwwwwww, no bootleg copy this time. I don't want to bring a laptop and microphone into the bar I'll look like a freak.
I saw on the internet though this ultra cool professional quality microphone that has a huge flash drive in it so you can record up to 30 hours DIGITALLY right in the mic and then download it later.
If I had THAT I'd definately bring it with, but it's about $1200!!!! I'm sure it will be down to about $150 in two years, THEN I'M GETTIN' ONE!
Alright! I'll be expecting pictures. I'll also expect you two to have a couple of drinks for me. Don't forget the bic lighters for the encore!!! Party on Wayne, Party on Garth!
It's supposed to be a small set. They're part of like 3 or 4 acts that are playing. I think Dylan said they get about an hour. So I might be able to sqeeze two drinks in there!
Unfortunately they're playing pretty late (for me anyway, I'm an old dude now). They don't go on til 10 PM.
Please send the guys our wishes and best of luck. I hope you two have a good time at the show. Someday we will all have the opportunity to see them all in concert. Your report should be done in true reporting style. "This is the penguin and I am standing outside the igloo where tonight Late Night Drive has been playing and just burst the place into ice cubes..."
Go professor go!

That album cover is from a band that is from the Bloomington, IN area. Other than that I don't know anything about them. I thought it was interesting they share the same name.
I checked out the "other" LND, but their website hasn't been updated since 2004. And I haven't heard of them. So, I doubt they're even together anymore. So, no worries D, you guys will be THE Light Night Drive!
Wow, D will be interested to see that album cover.
He had done some research and knew there was another band calling themselves Late Night Drive, but never got much more info on them. I do think he said they were a punk rock band though.
D and the boys harmonize really well! The music and vocals blended well together in the mix. They did the songs we feature here on Freeze Frame, along with a bunch of other songs which will be a delight to hear on the new album. The other bands featured seemed to be heavy metal (did not see these), but there was an enthusiastic response to Late Night Drive, even from some meta-head biker lookin folk. Good blend of double guitars and vocal harmonies. All around good vibe bought on by the band- look very much forward to seeing them again!

I actually managed to outpace JD, I just got home at 12:42 AM.
LND sounded great, definately getting better every time they play. They played a new song called "Love On Hold" that is EXCELLENT. IT sounded good live, but I know it will be their best sounding song yet when it's in a studio mix. You guys that liked "My Baby Waits" will definately like this one.
I stayed to watch the band after LND. Heavy metal, but VERY GOOD. The lead singer has an excellent metal voice, and the drummer was a Sammy Hagar look alike.
