No son again! Woo hoo! He went to the Clemson game with his best friend, his dad and his girlfriend, who happens to be my son's math teacher.
Emily has a school carnival tomorrow. I will be at the basketball booth for an hour. They actually do a great job and have done this for years. My son went to this daycare before Emily. So I am looking forward to it! Sometime we will do the pumpkins too!
Anyone want to help me rake leaves and pine needles? I would split the airline ticket 90-10 if you came out! (me being the 10 of course). Oh, and there would be plenty of free beer!

I can't this weekend, but you could mail me the pine straw? Down here they use it like mulch for your garden and it gets expensive!
I've got a show to go to tonight, then I'm going back "home" to visit old friends and parents. It'll be nice to see them, I just hate the 4 hour drive there and the 4 hour drive back.
Yeah, my hubby and I both are transplanted Yankees and we laughed when we bought this house and realized we needed to buy pine straw to upkeep the yard. But it really looks nice!

Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Sturgis, The Journey museum, Ellsworth AFB Museum( big flying objects that resemble kites with wings and motors), The Badlands, Belle Fourche, (the antique capital of the world), Wall Drug.....

Nothing--I am hiding from the world this weekend. My wife will be gone, as well as one of my daughters. I plan on holing up in my office staring at my Cher pictures, listening to FFR, reading a good book and start putting the pieces back together. I think on Sunday I will watch the series 24. It's fun to watch an entire season in one day--even though it takes all day. But it's pure escape fiction.
