Howdy.

I talked to my dad this morning and he's moving grandma to a retirement home today. Grandma is just getting too confused to be living alone. She's had bad days for quite some time now, but the last week or two, every day has been a bad day for her.

Sunday, we are going back to Lincoln to take the boy to the air show. We'll look at some planes and watch the Blue Angels fly. That should be fun.

Get your Friday on.

Forgot to add . . . I noticed a Wolf Spider on the floor out in the shop when I got here this morning so I caught it in a glass jar for the boy to see. I just put a ruler under him and tip-to-tip on his legs is 2-1/4".

So is it a wolf or a spider?

Afternoon all. I'm late getting in here. I've been swamped with stuff and of course, people keep bothering me with things I don't have time for but I know are important to them. Plus, there is that correcting of other departments work. I should have to do that. Grrrr.

In the meantime I didn't float away but half of the side of town I live on is under water. We'll see how things are when I get home tonight.

 Pun intended?

It is a spider but the kind of spider it is is called a "wolf spider".

My grandma called me during lunch and said: "I just wanted you to know that I'm going to the hospital for a few days. Your dad is down town doing some stuff right now, but he'll be back later and he is taking me to that place out there for a few days so they can help me get going again."

I didn't let on like I already knew this was happening. I know dad was taking her to the doctor today to get the move "doctor ordered" so her medicare will help. I really don't think she'll ever be living at home again with as bad as her mind has gotten the last few days, but she thinks this is a temporary deal so she can "get well" then go back home.

Not intended. Didn't even realize I said that. Must be in my subconscious. It is flooded in there too.

Sorry, Web, about having to go through the difficult decision over taking grandma to a retirement home cry  It must be very heartbreaking to have to go through that cry
