There IS one bright spot to todays collapse. It SHOULD seal the fate of Mike Sherman.
For the last three seasons we won ugly. This season we just don't have the talent to eek out those ugly wins we have in the past and as a result we've lost four of our last five by fewer than 10 points COMBINED!
Shermans play calling early was crap (too much running), they finally let Favre loose and he tore it up in the remainder of the first half.
Second half, Sherman goes back to conservative, trying to sit on a 17-0 lead and gets its jammed into his face.
BYE BYE SHERM, PACK YOUR BAGS, YOU'LL SOON BE A PEICE OF GREEN BAY HISTORY.
Here's your legacy...
* First ever home-field playoff loss
* Three EMBARASSING exits from the playoffs via blowouts or horrendous collapses.
* Players begging out of Green Bay insisting this team couldn't win under you.
* Complete loss of the home-field advantage
* Soon to be the first losing season in Green Bay in over a decade
* Denying Brett Favre any hope of another trip to the Super Bowl
* A draft record that helped finally sink a team that was consistantly among the best in the league.
I'm sure you'll be able to tack three or four more lowlights on before the end of the season.
