I've received word that Star is ok; no injuries or anything from Wilma. She had to park Sarah Sahara at a parking garage tho, and the jeep was broken into- cleared out the glove compartment, the hula-girl and the star-catcher!


Power is knocked out (as it is for much of southern florida).

I'm glad to hear Star is safe n' sound. I had no idea how bad it was down there, I just heard on the news a few minutes ago that 6 million are without power. WOW!

It's pathetic though how many people will take advantage of a situation like that. I'm so sick and tired of seeing these looters on TV. Time to get serious with these people. When you can't even park your car out of harms way without having it broken into, that's pretty sad.

I agree.  I have some friends that are trapped in Cancun.  They told me that the police allowed stores to be opened to retrieve the essentials.  Within minutes it was mayhem and they were stealing anything that could be carried.  They are staying at a preschool area and tell me that it is just packed.  I now know why I have guns

I have relatives trappen in Cancun!

They're stuck sleeping OUTSIDE on lawn chairs on the roof/balcony of a hotel.

Yeesh. Some vacation.
