Morning all. I'm looking forward to sleep in day tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be beautiful all weekend. So it'll be good to get outside for most of it.
Good luck nephew!
Friday on!

I'm also looking forward to sleep in day tomorrow. It's been dark and cold in the mornings, making it hard to get out of bed. My body tends to prefer a later schedule too. The walking group that I was in has ended for this year, so I'll probably walk to Farmer's Market after sleeping in, which I couldn't do before because the group met too early and we walked right past the Market.
I've got a ton of personal projects to work on this weekend. I've got birthday cards to make (for birthdays that were last week! D'oh!), a dress to alter (apparently I'm more hourglass than most dresses are made for anymore), and things to do to prepare for NaNoWriMo.
Yay! Friday! Glad this work week is drawing to a close.
I don't get to participate in Sleep In Day tomorrow . Dolly is spending the weekend while Maranda has her booth of hair goodies at a local craft market. So, I will be up at the usual work week time. Sunday we will be attending a family reunion. I still don't know what dish I will be taking, but I don't want to have to put a lot of effort into it.
Good luck to cousin Justin!

This weekend is also that "One Sky One World" kite event. We're planning to fly both Saturday and Sunday afternoons if the weather cooperates. There is rain in the forecast, but a lower percentage. We'll see how it goes.
My pasta salad gets complicated. Well maybe not complicated but it takes longer. So much chopping. Ham slice, cheese chunk, broccoli, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, carrots, two colors of peppers, onion.

Oh wow! Fuzzy, your pasta salad sounds yummy! But, I do believe I will go the route of simplicity this time. Mz, what kind of dressing do you suggest? Ranch? and mixed frozen vegies?

DS, it depends what I put in it. Usually ranch or an italian. And if you've got a chopper, you could still go Fuzzy's route without taking too much time. Diced ham, shredded cheese... Our Kroger has fresh veggies that are pre-cut in steamer bags too that could work well. I kind of just make it up as I go along, depending on what's on sale and how much work I feel like doing.
