Good day, all! Thought I would take a moment and start the Monday thread for you. It is Monday afternoon here right at the moment. By time you all are just getting up for work, we will be heading back to the hotel for the evening.
We had a really nice weekend of site seeing and shopping. I've been getting some good sleep these last few nights, but my body still wants to work off of Kansas time.
Hope you all are well. I'll check in later when I get back to the hotel. Perhaps I can catch some of you online.

Good evening, Mema. I've been looking at your photos on FaceBook. It looks like a beautiful place and I hope you have a great time while you're there.
Our kite fly got rained out. It literally rained all weekend. I've heard reports from 3.8" to well over 4". It sucked we didn't get to fly, but we needed the rain.
The boy has another football game tonight and then one more next week and he's done.
Morning all. Bright sunshine here again today. It was a beautiful weekend. Temps were in the 80s. I think it is supposed to be 75* today. We are due for rain late Tuesday night through Wednesday. It could hang around through Thursday. If it weren't in the middle of quarter end close, it would have be nice to have an extra day off to enjoy the end of the season.

It's a beautiful day here too. I'm glad I walked, because it's supposed to be rainy for the rest of the week here too.
A couple of friends that I haven't seen in a while stopped by my work this morning. They kept going on about how I look like I've lost a lot of weight. I'm still refusing to weigh myself, but I haven't dropped any pants sizes or anything, so maybe I'm just dressing better. It still made me feel good though.
Howdy y'all. It's duck weather in the Tulsa metro. Fall is creeping in by the gradual turining of the leaves. My mom lives in Santa Fe NM and she said that the higher elevations (say above 10,000 ft) received snow last week. I'm not ready for snow talk.

Fuzzy, rough sports weekend for you again. I'm sorry to hear about Howard's injury being so serious. He's one of the good guys on your team. Having it hurt on the very last play of a long season like that is just insane. Hopefully he'll heal quicker than they think and be ready for the start of 2012.
MZ, aren't people you haven't' seen in awhile AWESOME?!?!? I had a similar experience a month or so ago. I've been very slowly losing my weight. Not really pushing myself, just trying to make good changes in my day to day habits. I'm losing so slowly that nobody I know is really noticing, but this woman hadn't worked with me in over half a year and when she saw me one night she kept commenting that I looked like I'd really lost some weight. Feels good! And it makes you want to stick to what you've been doing. So congrats!
Web, you shoulda drove up to WI to fly your kite. We had beautiful weather. Barely a cloud in the sky, temps in the upper 70's AND as a bonus you coulda hung out with your buddy Jim and enjoyed some great Brewer baseball and Packer football! Maybe next weekend?
DS, I'ma pretend you didn't say the four letter S word!
Let me guess, if the Brewers should happen to win the World Series you are getting us an ornament or paperweight that represents your tiny team winning big.
