G'morning. Now that a day of vacation has been burned off I'm already starting to get that sad feeling that I'm getting closer to the end. I woke up and my first thought was "crap, I'm 30% of the way through my vacation". I wish I wouldn't think like that but I always have.
Anyway, good morning everybody. Not nearly as nice of a day here today as it was yesterday. It's cold and overcast with a threat of rain. Still, I'll try and get out and do something with it.
I was waiting on my first shipment of Christmas gifts yesterday. Typically my UPS guy gets here crazy late, between 5 and 7:30 PM. So yesterday I waited, and I waited, and I waited some more. Finally at 7 or so I checked the UPS website and it said they tried to deliver at 1 and I wasn't home. That was when I was at lunch with Dylan. STOOPID UPS.
So anyway, I'm stuck here until 2 today because they claim the stuff will be delivered between 10 & 2 today now.
Well as you all start your work days (apart from JR), I am nearly done with mine, been quite productive one by all accounts. Weather is not great cold and windy, but hey it's October so that's to be expected really. Have a good one and check out my websites of the day!

That's one thing I hate about our UPS guy, he doesn't even try to deliver to us, he just takes it to the office. There was one time I had something overnighted so I would get it in time to give as a gift, but the office was going to close at noon that day. But I thought that was okay, because Brian would be home. Nope, they delivered it to the office, probably right before they closed, so we had no chance to get it.
That does stink MZ. When I was in North Carolina they would attempt to deliver to me, but the office was their backup as long as I'd agreed to have them hold stuff for me.
Sounds like you just got a lazy driver who figures since you probably won't be home he won't waste his time.
I think that's exactly what it is. Our office works the same way, they're supposed to be a backup if we're not home. Which is great, but I do wish they'd try to deliver to us first.
Seems early for Christmas ordering, but it's really only 8 weekends away I had better start my vanilla bean sugar or it won't be very vanillaee -- y'all know what I'm trying to say...

Thats just it DS, it sneaks up on you fast. It just hit me yesterday that Thanksgiving is less than a month away. I have to start planning the meal and buying the stuff I need.
