... well, it's cloudy here anyway ... and since I started the thread I can title it whatever I want. So there. Sheesh, get off my back already!
We were supposed to have rain last night that turned into 2-4" of snow this morning. So far, it is just cloudy ... thus the thread title (see how that fits together?). The weather dudes are thinking the storm dumped most of its moisture on DS so there wasn't much left to get to us.
Another friend of mine in OK said they had another little quake last night.
Morning all. Sunny here. There were some clouds and a little fog this morning. But nothing like the thick fog of yesterday morning. I'm going to continue doing stuff. Yes, stuff. If anyone wants to come over and help with some audit paperwork I'll buy lunch.

It's supposed to be a beautiful day here. It's currently 61, climbing up to 70. We're going to come close to the record high. I'm wearing flip flops in November. But then tomorrow, the temp is supposed to drop back down to normal temperatures as the day goes on.
Good day, all. It is kind of chilly and crappy here today... presently 46* and raining. At least it isn't freezing, so its not all that bad. I think it is supposed to get just slightly warmer today, then hit freezing later tonight. Hoping the roads dry off by then.
I'm hoping the quality of this day improves as it wears on. My day started out with running late getting out of the house and over to pick up the Pambo for the ride into work.. in the rain. I dropped her off at the front door, then went to park my truck... on the roof of the parking garage. Oh well. Got to the front door of the office with all of my gear for the day, except of course for my building security keycard which was dangling from the rear view mirror in my truck. Dumped my bags off at the security desk and went back to get my keycard. FINALLY got to my desk and started the process of firing up both of my computers... when the Etch of the day appeared. (I'll describe that episode appropriatley in the Etch thread.) This brings me to 10:41AM where I have now completed my weekly accomplishments report for the boss... and am now bored.

Definitely can call the DC Dept of Revenue a bunch of jackasses.
Then call the FL auditor who I think fell off the face of the earth. He called at the end of May saying surprise we're auditing you. Said he was sending me a letter that never arrived. Got a call transferred to me in the middle of September asking when he could come in and look at stuff. First he called someone else who he tried to say he talked to in May. She told him no way, you want TL. We go through the whole deal (again) and I told him I never received his letter. He told me he faxed that. What auditor faxes something? Apparently this guy. We made a deal. He sent me the fax, I sent him the chart of accounts. And he told me he'll call me the next day, which would have been Friday. I don't hear from him but don't worry because I was busy. A week later when he still didn't call, I called and left him a message to see that he received my email. No response. I don't know why. I've been meaning to call him for three weeks but it always seems less important than the work on my desk. I had hoped to get him in and out by year end. That doesn't look possible now. He did say that he had been sick between May and Sept so maybe he has a relapse going on.
