Good day, all. Diligently humping forward here. At least this day has started out better than yesterday did. Had a conference call at 8AM which I called into on my cell phone as I was still at home. Nice because the boss has been on me about not using my Ericsson phone... so at least it has some minutes on it now. I do find it a bit ironic that he fusses about this as he personally refuses to call me on that number... just like everyone else, he only wants to call my personal phone.
Not a lot on the books for today either. I'm awaiting an e-mail with the details of the next project I need to work on. Have a staff beating at 1... otherwise, there is really not a lot going on. This is the slow time of year for us typically as everything is winding down for the holiday moratoriums. Last year was an anomaly as we had a bunch of equipment that needed to be installed in a hurry just to make it through the holidays. Happily though, I still have a good bit of vacation left, so I get to take some real down time without worrying about everybody else being overwhelmed.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
Afternoon all. It has already seemed like a long day. Phone calls and meetings have accounted for two hours of my three hour workday so far. And I was on the phone with the boss and that pushed back a meeting. There is another meeting later. When am I going to have some more time today to do my work? No wonder why I get stuck here later than I should.
