Avian Flu...for the birds?


I saw that President Bush asked Congress for 7 billion dollars to help prevent a pandemic of Avian flu.

So far hundreds of people have died in Asia and there may have been one reported case of it in the U.S. already.

Is it possible to prevent something like this? Does it concern anybody?

I think the challenge is to produce enough of the right vaccine. Is the horse already out of the barn?

      The 1 saving grace in this is that winter is coming , hard for a virus to live in


   cold weather ,  keep your eye on South America .
