I've actually never had the problem with anything shiny hanging from anyone's rearview mirror, but my car is pretty low. I have more problems with the headlights from trucks behind me shining into my rearview mirror.

I have a silver ornament that has a butterfly dangling. It's had to describe but I get compliments on it. It's not very big though.

I've got a hand-beaded Native American piece hanging from my mirror. I call it my lucky talisman. It isn't very big though and it doesn't interfere with my line of vision while driving.

Squonk's roach clip sorta looks like a person. smile

Nah, it looked yummier than it was. The frame was bent, so when I went over 40mph, it started to shake. The seals were shot, and someone added a sunroof, so it leaked like crazy (found that out when I tried to go through a car wash!). But it was pretty, red with white stripes, and that was before I gained a bunch of weight and would wear low cut dresses, so I got a lot of looks.
